Assistant Manager, Content Marketing
About the role
NexTen Brands is an early-stage startup on a mission to build the next generation of powerhouse brands. Founded by Rahul Singh (ex-Flipkart Category Leader), we don’t just "manage" brands—we disrupt categories.
We are looking for a Content & Social Media Powerhouse who doesn't just follow trends but sets them.
This is not a role for a "task-taker." We are looking for a Big Picture Thinker with a natural flair for storytelling and the "hustle" to execute at lightning speed.
First-Principles Thinker: You don’t do things because "that’s how it’s done." You break down a brand’s soul to its core and build a narrative that resonates.
The Hustler & Doer: You have high ownership. You aren't afraid to pick up a camera, write a viral thread, or stay up late to catch a trending moment.
Natural Flair: You have an intuitive "vibe" for what works on the internet. You understand the nuances of different platforms and can switch voices effortlessly.
Problem Solver: When a campaign isn't performing, you don't wait for instructions. You pivot, iterate, and find a way to win.
- 360° Strategy: Design and lead end-to-end content campaigns for new brand launches and growth phases.
- Disruptive Thinking: Develop "hook" ideas that cut through the noise of a crowded digital marketplace.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Performance Marketing and Design to ensure content isn't just "pretty" but converts.
Platform Ownership: Own the voice and growth of our brands across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and emerging platforms.
Trend-Jacking: Actively monitor social trends and culture to insert our brands into relevant conversations in real-time.
Community Building: Move beyond likes and comments; build a tribe of brand evangelists through authentic engagement.
Requirements
Experience: Proven track record in Content Marketing, Social Media Management, or Creative Strategy (preferably in a D2C or startup environment).
Portfolio: A portfolio that shows more than just "blogs"—we want to see campaigns, viral posts, or brand stories you’ve built from scratch.
Ownership: A "Founder's Mindset." You treat the brand’s social handles and reputation as your own.
Agility: Ability to thrive in the "beautiful chaos" of an early-stage startup.
