Assistant Manager, Performance Marketing
About the role
We are looking for a Hustler and Big-Picture Thinker to own the entire growth funnel. You won't just run ads; you will define the consumer journey. You understand that a low CAC is useless without a high LTV, and a great ad is useless if the website experience is broken.
You are a First-Principles Thinker who can break down a failing campaign to its core components—Audience, Creative, or Landing Page—and fix it with surgical precision.
1. Multi-Channel Acquisition (The Hunting)
Omnichannel Mastery: Execute high-performance campaigns across the full spectrum: Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), TikTok, Snapchat, and emerging platforms.
Granular Targeting: Identify exactly where our customers "hang out" and deploy surgical targeting to bring them to our ecosystem.
Scalable Profitability: Maintain a relentless focus on CAC and ROAS while aggressively scaling budgets.
The Hook Obsession: You aren't just a numbers person; you are creative enough to identify "hooks" that stop the scroll. You will lead the content strategy by briefing the creative team on what angles, formats, and psychological triggers will convert.
Consumer Psychology: Deeply understand why people buy. Use these insights to iterate on ad copy and visual storytelling.
Conversion Mastery: Take full ownership of the website experience. You will identify friction points and implement strategies to improve Conversion Rate (CR).
Value Extraction: Optimize for AOV, Upsell, and Cross-sell opportunities to ensure we maximize the value of every click.
Retention & Retargeting: Build a bulletproof CRM and email/SMS marketing engine to drive repeat purchases and increase LTV.
SEO Foundations: Ensure the brand has a solid organic foundation to support paid efforts, focusing on high-intent search visibility.
Requirements
Analytically Sound: You speak the language of pixels, CAPI, attribution models, and cohort analysis. Excel is your second language.
The Doer: You are a "go-getter" who doesn't wait for permission. You see a problem, you hypothesize a solution, and you test it immediately.
High Ownership: You treat the brand's P&L as your own. You don't just report on metrics; you take responsibility for the outcomes.
Disruption-Minded: You hate "best practices" that have gone stale. You are always looking for the next growth hack or platform arbitrage.
Experience in D2C Performance Marketing (Startup or Agency experience preferred).
Toolbox: Expert level at Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Shopify/Web Analytics, and CRM and checkout tools (Bytespeed, Gokwik, etc.).
Mindset: You thrive in the "beautiful chaos" of a growth-stage startup and are ready to grow into a leadership role as we scale.
