Head of Content, Design and Social
About the role
NexTen Brands is a high-velocity house of brands. We don’t just "launch" products; we disrupt categories. We are building a world-class "A-Team" of hustlers who believe that first-principles thinking and radical creativity can outpace any traditional corporate strategy. We are looking for a Head of Creative Strategy to lead the soul of our brands—unifying Content, Design, and Social into one unstoppable growth engine.
The Vision for the Role
You are the bridge between Art and ROI. We need an original design thinker who has a natural flair for content and the technical chops to execute. You aren't just "good with tools"; you understand human psychology. You know how to take a killer copywriting hook and translate it into a design that stops the scroll, lowers CAC, and builds long-term brand equity.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)1. Creative Direction & Brand Identity
Original Design Thinking: Own the visual DNA of multiple brands. From brand identity and logo systems to packaging design that pops on a shelf (digital or physical).
The "Copy-to-Visual" Translation: You must have a natural flair for storytelling. You will take impactful copy and lead the team to convert it into high-impact visual design.
Trend Creation: Don't just follow the "aesthetic of the month." Use first-principles to create trends that others will follow.
The Growth Mindset: Deeply understand Ad Hooks. Collaborate with Performance Marketing to iterate on content that keeps CAC in check while scaling aggressively.
Consumer-Centric Design: Adapt your creative style based on the brand, the platform (Meta, TikTok, Google, LinkedIn), and the specific consumer persona.
Creative Testing: Build a "test-and-learn" culture where design is treated as a variable for business growth.
Platform Mastery: Oversee the content strategy for Instagram, YouTube, X, Snapchat, and LinkedIn. You know the nuances of each and how to win on them.
Social Deal-Making: Experience in identifying and closing high-value social media deals, influencer partnerships, and creator-led collaborations.
UGC & Community: Scale an authentic UGC engine that feels human but performs like a machine.
AI Integration: You are AI-Ready. You proactively implement AI tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT, AI Video, etc.) to drive 10x efficiency in the design and content workflow without losing the "human soul" of the brand.
Scalable Systems: Build the "Creative OS" for NexTen—workflows that allow us to manage 5+ brands with surgical precision and zero quality drop-off.
People Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of designers, writers, and editors. You are a coach who inspires original thought.
The Collaborative Nexus: You will be the primary partner for Category Managers, Performance Marketers, and E-comm leads. You must be an excellent communicator who can defend a creative choice with data.
Requirements

First-Principles Thinker: You don't do things because "everyone else does." You break problems down to their core truths.
Big-Picture Thinker: You see the "Golden Thread" that connects a social media post, a website UI, and a product's packaging.
Experience & Toolbox
Proven Pedigree: 5-8+ years of experience in high-growth D2C brands or creative agencies.
The Mastery: Expert-level command over Adobe Creative Suite (Ps, Ai, Pr, Ae), Figma, and Canva.
Video/Motion: Past experience in video editing and motion graphics is a huge plus.
Commercial Savvy: Proven experience in managing social media accounts and closing influencer/commercial deals.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English. You can pitch a vision to the CEO and a hook to a consumer.
