The Mission

NexTen Brands is a high-growth house of brands. We partner with early-stage founders to disrupt categories and scale them to the next level. The Digital Catalog is our most important real estate. We are looking for a Catalog & Merchandising Maverick who understands that every bullet point, image, and backend keyword is a lever for growth.

This isn't just about data entry. We want a Hustler who views the catalog as a living, breathing product that needs constant optimization, experimentation, and first-principles thinking.


Your Scope of Impact (KRAs)
  • Digital Storefront Ownership: Own the end-to-end listing process across Amazon, Flipkart, and D2C websites. You are responsible for ensuring that our products look "World Class" from the second they go live.

  • AI-Powered Optimization: Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, etc.) to generate high-converting copy, enhance product images, and automate repetitive catalog tasks. You should be proactive in finding ways to do 10 hours of work in 1 hour using technology.

  • SEO & Discoverability: Conduct first-principles research into how customers actually search. You won’t just follow a keyword list; you’ll identify gaps in the market and optimize titles and descriptions to win the search rank.

  • Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the design team (or use your own Canva skills) to ensure images, A+ content, and infographics solve the consumer’s "pain points" immediately.

  • Audit & Disruption: Perform regular "First-Principles" audits of our listings and competitors. If a competitor is winning, you break down why and implement a better strategy for our brands.

  • Policy & Compliance: Be the guardian of our marketplace health. Stay ahead of changing platform guidelines to ensure our listings are bulletproof and never suppressed.

Who You Are
  • The Hustler: You have a "get it done" attitude. You take extreme ownership of your listings—if a price is wrong or an image is broken, it keeps you up at night.

  • Detail-Obsessed: You have a surgical eye for detail. You catch the typos and formatting errors that others miss.

  • First-Principles Thinker: You don't just follow a template. You ask, "Is this the best way to explain this product to a customer?"

  • AI-Native: You are excited by the changing role of a catalog manager and are already using AI to improve your efficiency and creative output.

  • Analytically Sound: You can look at a conversion report and understand which part of the catalog needs a "hook" to improve performance.

Requirements
  • Tools: High proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets (Vlookup, Pivot tables are your friends). Hands-on experience with Canva is essential.

  • Platform Knowledge: Basic understanding of Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, or Shopify is a big plus.

  • Communication: Clear, concise, and impactful writing skills in English.

  • Mindset: You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and are looking for a role that has a clear path to a full-time growth position.
